The Permanent Cosmetic Studio was established by Carmella Davies in 1999 in West Chester, PA. Carmella created such a large following doing just about everything in the beauty industry, so it was a natural progression for her to shift her focus on a specific craft.
20 years and over 15,000 happy clients later, The Permanent Cosmetic Studio is highly sought after both locally and nationally for its permanent cosmetic solutions and other beauty services including eyelash extensions and skin treatments.
The Studio
Our modern, yet cozy, studio is located in a professional office park just a turn off of Route 1, Baltimore Pike in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania—not far from the Brandywine River Museum. Walking in our door, you will find a reception area and four state-of-the-art procedure rooms that resemble modern dental offices with a comfy spa environment twist. Carmella is not only a talented artist but also a pioneer in the permanent makeup industry. She has owned three businesses throughout her career. In 1999, she started at a small shop in West Chester, where she began to grow her customer base while also operating a skincare school and a liquor store. After developing an allergy, she sold the skincare school and the liquor store to devote her time to the art of PERMANENT COSMETICS. Over the years, she expanded her business, purchasing a larger office in Chadds Ford. Today, she is a reliable, trusted artist who has significantly boosted her clients' confidence. Carmella is dedicated to the satisfaction of every person who walks through her doors.

Kristina, a licensed Cosmetologist, is an expert in Permanent Cosmetics and Eyelash Extensions. With over a decade of experience, she began her journey under the guidance of Carmella in 2008. In 2010, she distinguished herself as one of the youngest members of The Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals. Furthering her expertise, in 2016, she attained associate membership status with The American Academy of Micropigmentation. Kristina's mastery extends to volume eyelash extensions, a prestigious certification she earned from a leading trainer in New York City.

After becoming certified, she honed her craft under the guidance of our studio's master lash artist, Kristina Bray, in 2018. With meticulous attention to detail, Melanie excels in creating flawless eye transformations tailored to each individual's preferences. Continuously expanding her expertise, she is currently specializing in Hybrid and Volume Lash Extension techniques. Melanie's dedication to making people feel confident and beautiful shines brightly in her exceptional work.
